Mio LINK is rated 4.2078 out of 5 by 332.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great accuracy Use the product for cycling. I really like the wrist based heart rate monitor and the elimination of the chest strap. Unit communicates well with both my running watch and cycling computer via Ant. However, I find that the response time of the Mio is not very good compared with the chest strap. Doing hard intervals where my heart rate ramps quickly to above threshold, the Mio is not capable of responding to the quick increase. When I review the interval following, I find that the Mio stays at a low heart rate during the interval when I know my actual heart rate is high. For gradual ramps or steady state exercise, the Mio works very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Accurate 99% of the time. Have used this for 4 months for road bicycle racing including stage racing. The fit is comfortable, the battery doesn't run out on a 6 hour ride. I do charge it each night though, as it was running flat on back to back long days.I sweat heavily, which seemed to play havoc with all other HR straps before (garmin, polar). The accurately is unaffected by sweat. I usually get a HR reading spike for unknown reasons. I check my HR at the carotid and the rate is below what the watch is indicating. Funnily when I slap the watch or rotate it on my wrist the reading returns to expected values. This is the best HR monitor I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much better than the archaic chest strap! Took some getting used too, but after a month of using the Mio wrist HR monitor, I'm in love. I am thrilled to never have to wrap a still damp from the previous workout chest strap on, no chaffing, no bulk. I do have to pull it on pretty tightly to make sure the connection stays, but it's not uncomfortable and I quickly forget I'm wearing it. My first few rides, I tested it's accuracy by wearing both my chest strap and the Mio and compared the readings- they were always within 1-3 beats of one another so I feel confident I'm getting as accurate numbers as I was with the chest strap. I can't imagine going back!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful and supremely convenient For endurance sports, the Mio helps me train in specific heart rate "zones" (ranges). This wristband is much more convenient than putting a cold, wet chest strap on before going outdoors in the winter! And it syncs to my Garmin Forerunner 110 just fine.As for accuracy, the Mio mostly compares well to my old chest strap and to manually measuring my pulse. I've seen the Mio's reading drop out for short intervals during a longer bout of training, and I've seen it overreport or underreport my pulse. Usually, the problem can be fixed by wearing the band higher up on my wrist.Certainly, it's not any more flaky than my old chest strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never going back! I've been using it since April 2014. Had to find the right position to get correct readings (same arm as the watch - I'm using a Garmin FR 410 - and upside down). Now I just get occasionally false reading, mostly when it moves along my arm, or by really cold weather when I've several clothes between the Link and the watch. But overall I still get way less false readings than with my old chest strap (most of the time it's perfectly accurate), and regarding comfort and convenience of use it is far far better! I would never go back to the chest strap. I had to, once recently, because the Link battery was empty, and it was a nightmare.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product but not there yet The product is absolutely fantastic. It does exactly what it is billed for which is amazing. The technical aspects are on point. However, if you plan on using it for anything other than IOS then be prepared for some disappointment. The product really only works with other applications which are not native to the product; these applications do not track the data efficiently, at best woefully. So if you have an iPhone and plan on using it on it then by all means go for it. It is also fantastic for other watches which read HR straps. However, if you wanted a one stop shop, for those on a treadmill, lifting weights, or don't want another watch on then you better have IOS.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not ready for prime time I tried hard to make the Mio work for me, but the readings were too erratic to be of value. I used it for indoor and outdoor cycling. The readings generally tracked the progression of the workout, but the numbers fluctuated 20-30 beats. The downloaded curve wasn't smooth, rather it was jagged with fluctuations. I tried the band at different orientations around each wrist and forearm. The company was accommodating in returning the unit. I hope to purchase another when the kinks are worked out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great...except for the Bluetooth radio... Does it track my heart rate? Yes. Does it do so accurately? Yes. Unfortunately, when it drops connection to my iPhone repeatedly during workouts, it's essentially useless to me. This is the second Link I've tried, and I've had similar issues with both. Doesn't matter which wrist I put it on or how I place it on my wrist. It's just a bad Bluetooth radio, and that makes for a worthless device since it isn't storing any of the heart data it's reading. The Fuse has a better radio, but the additional cost is too much since it's added functionality isn't of interest to me. Back to a chest strap for me, sadly...
